It began here – a blog through which I continue to offer thoughts and perceptions centering upon my purpose, which is to glorify God by helping others perceive and give thanks for beauty.

I want to give credit to Clive Hick-Jenkins’ Artlog, whose weblog provided the initial inspiration for this venture. See his remarkable paintings. “Touched,” among his Annunciation series, has provided a reference point for one of my Advent sermons.

God often grasps us through the beauty of the world and the beauty of art. We respond to God through the beauty of faith. We call that response prayer. Some of the many ways we prayerfully respond include painting, music, poetry and theology.
