I want to give credit to Clive Hick-Jenkins’ Artlog, whose weblog provided the initial inspiration for this venture. See his remarkable paintings. “Touched,” among his Annunciation series, has provided a reference point for one of my Advent sermons.

God often grasps us through the beauty of the world and the beauty of art. We respond to God through the beauty of faith. We call that response prayer. Some of the many ways we prayerfully respond include painting, music, poetry and theology.
